DALLAS 9TH grade Ultimate

|
Justice Jones
Patterson HS, LA
9th
QB #27
|
Justice is served. Jones 5’11.5 183, was named
QB MVP after an impressive display on the football field. Jones was
outstanding during 1 on 1 and 7 on 7’s, throwing perfectly placed
passes while making a plethora of smart reads. Jones is a great
system QB.

Devin Rushing
Desoto HS, TX
9th
RB #29
|
Isn’t that something that the RB MVP’s last
name is rushing? Rushing, 5’8.5 168, had a 30 inch vertical, 9’4
broad jump and was dominant during 1 on 1 drills. Pretty soon it
will be the college coaches that will be rushing to see Rushing.
|

|
Brady, 5’9 171, was the DB MVP. Brady had a 30

Cayman Bundage

|
An imposing 6’0 277, Bundage was named OL MVP
after dominating the competition. Bundage (who bench pressed 155 lbs
20 times) used his strength to his advantage during 1 on 1’s,
keeping opposing linemen at bay.
|
|
Victor Irokansi
Hendrickson HS, TX
9th
DL #49
|
Some athletes are just fit to be king, such as
Irokansi. Irokansi, 6’3 200, was crowned Combine King after an
unbelievable all around day. Irokansi had a 32 inch vertical, 10’1
broad jump, ran a 4.66 shuttle and bench pressed 155 lbs 23 times.
Irokansi’s goes down in the record books as one of – of not the –
most athletic lineman in NUC history.

|
Theres little to dwell on here. Dwellingham,
5’10 181, was the Strongest Man at a skill position. Dwellingham
bench pressed 135 lbs 35 times, had a 29 inch vertical, 8’1 broad
jump, and ran a 4.60 shuttle. Truvonne is the truth.

Corey Thompson

Thompson was named co-Combine King as well as

4.35 shuttle, 4.56 40 bench pressed 135 lbs 17 times and was a star
during 1 on 1’s. I am still trying to figure out if there is
anything missing from his arsenal.

|
Santa Cruz is everything a coach can ask for, a
talented, hard working athlete and with a good attitude, Santa Cruz
won the Dodie and Leadership awards. Santa Cruz had a 9’2 broad
jump, ran a 4.31 shuttle and did a fine job during 1 on 1 drills.
Santa Cruz was an honor to coach.

a 27 inch vertical, 8’4 broad jump, ran a 4.33 shuttle and was in a
league of his own during 1 on 1 and 7 on 7’s. Vera had outstanding

|
Mardis, 5’10 174, was named Fastest Man. Mardis
ran a 4.50 shuttle, 4.49 40 and had an 8’3 broad jump. As a freshman
next year, Mardis’ speed will make him an elite performer.
|
|

QB #24
|
Woodyard has the traits that most of the greats
did. Strength, courage, determination, confidence and a tireless
work ethic. The 6’0.5 183 Woodyard was deservingly named the
Leadership award winner. Woodyard was also a star during 1 on 1 and
7 on 7’s, making him a QB who would be able to lead any team.
He did an amazing job while competing with the
Sophs the next day.
