Zach Kline

QB #9

Kline, 6’0 179, was awarded the QB MVP following a brilliant performance. Kline was on fire during 1 on 1’s and 7 on 7’s, hitting his receivers with ease. Kline has all the tools to become a star.

Arik Armstead

Jesuit HS, CA

9th

DL #86

Armstead, 6’4.5 236, won the DL MVP. Armstead was head and shoulders above the competition, dominating during 1 on 1’s. Armstead has impressive size and is very skilled for a freshman.

Shawn Boose

Kearny HS, CA

9th 

WR #18

Boose, 5’7.5 148, was the WR MVP. Boose had an  8’2 broad jump and was highly impressive during 1 on 1’s as well as 7 on 7’s. Boose came up with a number of impressive grabs to keep the defense frusturated.

Aaron Porter

La Habra HS, CA

9th

LB #48

At 6’0 224, Porter was the LB MVP. Porter had a 27.5 inch vertical, 8’3 broad jump, ran a 4.58 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 34 times and did an outstanding job of covering the running backs during 1 on 1’s. Maybe Aaron is related to Joey Porter?

Kene Anigbogu

Helix HS, CA

9th

WR #2

Anigbogu won the TE MVP following a keen performance. Anigbogu had a 9’0 broad jump, ran a 4.54 shuttle and used his 6’3 185 lb frame to make some clutch catches during 1 on 1’s and 7 on 7’s.

Logan Stott

Pine View HS, UT

8th

OL #78

An impressive 6’1 238 lber, Stott was the Strongest Lineman. Stott bench pressed 155 lbs 22 times and also did well during 1 on 1’s. Stott’s strength for an 8th grader is jaw dropping.

Corbin McCarthy

Norco HS, CA

9th

RB #38

McCarthy won the Strongest Man award. A pure power back at 5’8.5 175, McCarthy bench pressed 135 lbs a phenomenal 41 times. McCarthy’s brute strength should power him to a successful season in 2010.

Dwight Melvin

Fairfax HS, AZ

9th

DL #87

Melvin, 6’0 233, was awarded the Big Man Combine King. This impressive athlete had a 25 inch vertical, 7’7 broad jump, ran a 4.64 shuttle and bench pressed 155 lbs 17 times.

Kwayde Miller

Ramona HS, CA

9th

OL #74

A massive 6’6.5 247 lber, Miller was awarded OL MVP. Miller used his gargantuan size to bully opposing linemen during 1 on 1’s. Expect Miller to be very successful if he continues to blossom.

Taylor Lagrace

Arcadia HS, CA

9th

WR #10

Taylor LaGrace; remember the name. At 6’0 174, LaGrace won the Dodie award. LaGrace graced the football field with his 8’2 broad jump, 4.38 shuttle, 21 reps at 135 lbs and brilliance during 1 on 1’s as well as 7 on 7’s. 

Steven Long

Sherwood HS, OR

9th

RB #25

After being crowned Combine King as well as RB MVP, Steven undoubtedly has a long, bright future ahead of him in football. The 6’4.5 148 lb standout had a 32 inch vertical, 8’6 broad jump, ran an exceptional 4.48 shuttle, 4.59 40, bench pressed 135 lbs 29 times and excelled during 1 on 1’s. With strong overall skills, Long should be a star for many years to come.

Major Armstead

Bishop Alemany HS, CA

In winning the DB MVP as well as Fastest Man award, Armstead has MAJOR potential. At 5’6 142, Armstead ran a 4.47 shuttle, 4.57 40, had a 29.5 inch vertical and kept receivers on lock down during 1 on 1’s as well as 7 on 7’s.

Nicholas Rothstein

Jesult HS, OR

WR #21

A star is born. Rothstein, 5’10 182, won the Overall MVP following a dazzling performance. Rothstein had a 31.5 inch vertical, 8’10 broad jump, ran a 4.37 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 25 times and dominated during 1 on 1’s. Rothstein made many great catches and ran great routes.
